Oakdale St in east Windermere FL runs just over 1.2 miles north to south. Oakdale St is primarily a residential street and yes it is also a dirt road like many of the roads in the town of Windermere. Let's take a closer look at this beautiful residential street.
Oakdale St runs parallel to Main Street which is just one block to the west. To the east is Magnolia St which is considerably shorter than Oakdale St or Main.
On Oakdale you will also find Central Park which keeping true to its name is near the center of the town. This park is a 1.54 acre park with a lot going for it. There are numerous things there that attract the town residents including ample parking. There are no sports courts at this park but there are fitness stations. Pet lovers will appreciate and hopefully be using the pet station on the south side of the park. Just to the north of Central Park you will pass by the Windermere tennis courts at The Park Among the Lakes.
On the north end of Oakdale there are quite a few of homes on the canal. These homes are all north of E 1st Ave. The canal will place you on Lake Down and if you turn your boat westward once reaching Lake Down you are on your way to Wauseon Bay and the rest of the chain.
The south end of this street has quite a few homes on the shore of Lake Bessie. Lake Bessie is not connected to other lakes but it is a large and private lake. These homes have a morning lakeview of the sunrise and much more going for them.
The bulk of the residences are traditional community homes just on a dirt road. Regardless their age you will find them charming and attractive. Take a drive through just remember the road is somewhat narrow in places. Thank you for reading about Oakdale Street in Windermere FL.
