Entertainment comes in many forms. Some forms take your participation while others you get to be the spectator. I personally get more enjoyment from watching my children and grandchildren enjoy themselves that I get from many things. We live on a lake and have more than one Seadoo. I rarely ride them but we maintain them just for when visitors are here to enjoy them. That is just one of the perks of the lakefront lifestyle. The main attraction here is the Butler Chain of Lakes.

Windermere LA Fitness

Fitness for Windermere FL residents can be enjoyed or improved with a variety of resources. Of course, the weather is beautiful and you can just enjoy the outside if you wish. However, LA Fitness has two amazing facilities that Windermere residents use. Orange Theory also has two locations and there are other choices. If fitness is your interest, you’re going to love this city even more.

Windermere Golf

Many people in Windermere are golf fans, players and club members. Some of the finest golf in Florida is available on Windermere’s courses. Isleworth and The Golden Bear Club stand head and shoulders above the competition and the contribution that they have made to this city is no doubt tremendous. Just a drive around in Keenes Pointe or Isleworth (if you are so fortunate) and you can see the beauty of these courses as the roads and homes intertwine with them.

Every city needs them and a wide variety is preferred. There have been quite a few added recently out west while some incredible ones remain. You will find your favorites and might even see us there.

Windermere Parks

Though the more famous parks are outside of the city limits they certainly ad some enjoyment to most Windermere Florida resident’s lives. Universal Resort, Volcano Bay (my favorite) and of course Walt Disney World are all within a very short drive of anywhere in Windermere. What does that mean? Season Passes do not go to waste and visitors will at least occasionally venture out of your beautiful home for something to do. Many people have visited the local parks only to fall in love with Windermere and want to move here.

Windermere FL Shopping

The shopping in Windermere FL did not improve for quite a while. That has definitely changed in recent years and to the joy of the locals. New shops, service providers etc. seem to be showing up everywhere. We cover all of these locations in detail. Whichever part of the city you live in shopping and dining are nearby.

In Summary

Windermere is a home to many with different backgrounds and cultures. We all seem to get along just fine by abiding by the principles of common decency. Rarely have I dealt with a rude individual here or received bad service in a Windermere store or restaurant. Decency and kindness seem to be the rule of the day.
