Pocket Lake in Orlando FL is a part of the Butler Chain of Lakes. This lake is almost as far south as you can go and still be on the chain. Little Fish Lake is to the south while Lake Sheen is to the north. You can see Lake Sheen in the photo above.
Pocket Lake has 128 acres of surface area. While not to large that is a very respectable size for a lake. The mean depth of the lake is 18 feet and it holds over 750 million gallons of water. At the lakes narrowest pointe it is over 1,400 feet from shore to shore. Also keep in mind the large canals at both the north and south ends of the lake.
What sets Pocket Lake apart from many other lakes in Orlando is the row of homes along the south and east shoreline. Think Millionaires Row and some of the nicest homes in Orlando. No joke, and most of the people living in this zip code are not even aware that they are here. It isn't a gated lakefront community. It is gated homes on Pocket Lake.
