Yes, this is a franchise but who cares as long as the food is great, atmosphere is great and the restaurant stays clean and Tijuana Flats does all of those things. The idea for this restaurant was formed by Brian Wheeler in 1995. Sometime after that the first of many more was opened in Winter Park FL.

Well I guess why not? They have great food and most of us will enjoy Tex-Mex occasionally. In addition to that this restaurant has a rewards program and they have given a lot back to their employees and communities. That is the same reason Publix Supermarket does so well. When restaurant goers or supermarket patrons realize there is quality and decent pricing the only things that can be better is location and respect for the business.
