Windermere FL

West

To the west of Windermere you have Horizon West. Restaurants in Windermere are still fairly easy to distinguish because most are along the west side of CR 535 aka Winter Garden Village Road. However if you travel a few miles further there are now many quality restaurants in the Hamlin Area and to its south which are part of Horizon West but 5-10 minutes from Windermere. Several of these restaurants would do well anywhere and are fantastic.

South

To the south of Windermere are many restaurants in the Dr. Phillips area and to its south. All are within 20 minutes and you should expect quality and abundance of restaurants near Windermere FL to the south as you approach Disney and the many hotels in this area. Dr. Phillips's Restaurant Row in Orlando FL has a surprising number of places to eat, shops and stores along W Sand Lake Row that are frequently visited by some Windermere residents.

East

The the east there is the Mall at Millenia. I never go there to eat but there are quite a few restaurants to in that area and in the mall. With the places to eat locally at The Grove and the frequency we eat out I just never think the extra drive is worth it. There is enough variety locally for us.

North

To the north you have plenty of options between Plantation Grove in Ocoee FL and the Winter Garden Village area. There are more restaurants near Windermere FL in these areas than I would even try to guess. I have eaten plenty of times in both of these locations and W Colonial Drive which is also minutes from northern Windermere is also covered with semi local options.
