E 8th Ave in south Windermere FL is about 1000 feet long. E 8th avenue passes through a residential area to Lake Bessie and Bessie Street. Ultimately you can reach Conroy Windermere Road by passing through this community but it is not allowed by the city. Not to mention it will likely be slower because of the width of the road etc.
E 8th Ave is usually accessed off of Main Street south of the main town center. Both versions of 8th Avenue are residential and lead to lakes. One might even say that Windermere is "among the lakes". If you are looking for a large private lake then take this road.
E 8th Avenue has 13 homes along it's sides. You will be pleased at how well the homes are maintained and if you slow down to appreciate them it is somewhat of a throwback in time. The styles are a little older and the lots are larger. The trees along the street ad to the feel you may have traveled back in time. By the way, traveled back to a much less stressful time. That is one of the things this city offers. Seclusion when you want it and the comfort of knowing civilization is nearby. You can know your neighbors without them knowing everything about you. Occasionally we all need to take a trip down a road similar to E 8th Avenue in Windermere FL.
