The housing market in Windermere FL has been strong for quite some time. Recent changes have caused a slight downturn even in Windermere. What will the future bring? We shall see soon enough but I doubt Windermere will be as effected as much as some other locations.
Let's take a look at the overall numbers over the previous 30 days and some of the larger communities here in the city. This morning I looked at quite a few different cities and areas in Central Florida and some areas are definitely slowing.
Those numbers still look fairly strong. However the overall trend in Central FL is fewer sales at this time. What should a buyer do? Of course that is a personnel decision but ask yourself this. Do I expect interest rates to go down significantly? The answer to that is probably not. If it were me, and it is not me. I would buy the location and affordability and just plan on keeping my home for 5 to 10 years. This is probably not the time to buy just any home to try to flip it. We will see you next month on the Windermere FL housing market update.
