Lake Buynak in Windermere FL is really more of a named pond. One wonders the historical significance of the name just because most communities would just call the lake a pond. However this is a lake and it does have docks on it belonging to lakefront homes.
Lake Buynak has a couple of namesake roads adjacent to it. Namely Lake Buynak Road and Lake Buynak Court. These roads are not normally traveled as there are only a couple of dozen homes on them. However this is a shortcut that some people use but saves very little.
Lake Buynak has only 9 acres of surface area. Plenty for a good view but pretty much limits the lakefront owners to no powered watercraft. There is no public launch and the lake is not interconnected by channel to any other lake.
Casabella at Windermere is across the street to the south and so is Chaine Du Lak. Grand companions to humble lake Buynak.
