Lake Mitzi is north of the town of Windermere FL. Lake Mitzi is a small lake which is visible from Maguire Road and relatively untouched. That is a good thing and the city has strived to keep its lakes pristine. This lake is much more like a medium size pond.

Not only does Lake Mitzi preserve the local water but it provides yet another relatively untouched area for our many local bird species. The next time you are driving north on Maguire Road look to your left about 1/3 of a mile north of the roundabout. On the south side of Estancia is where you will see Lake Mitzi.
