Lake William Davis is a relatively small lake just west of Lake Butler. Lake Davis is not interconnected at least in a way that you can travel from this lake to another above water. Lake Davis sets in its place and provides lake views to beautiful homes surrounding it.
Lake William Davis has several communities on it's shores. Lake Davis Reserve, Tilden's Grove at Windermere and the Lake Davis Estates community which is very small and not gated. The Lake although visible from a public road is very much a private lake. There is no official boat launch but there are plenty of boat docks reaching out onto this lake. The peace and quiet on this lake is surprising. Since even the non gated community to the east is so far from the main traffic you can really set back and enjoy the view and presence of the water. All in all Lake William Davis was no doubt a great place to build all of those gorgeous homes.
The Lake has historically been measured between 8 and 14 feet deep. That doesn't mean you can bet on it because they just take random measurements and pick the middle or mean depth. The surface area of the lake is 40 acres which is a respectable size. The water quality was good and the lake should be tested again soon. I hope this has answered your questions about Lake William Davis in Windermere FL.
