The Library in Windermere FL is not only a historic library but it is part of the Orange County Library System and is open to the public. Windermere is an amazing town and it retains many of it's historic buildings. If you care about Windermere FL history Visit the library next time you are in the town of Windermere. Also stop by and visit the nearby Townhall. Both of these locations are on the west side of Main Street.
The Library itself is not that large but it does have staff during operating hours. There are computers and there are still good old fashion books aka the 19th century internet. You will see people frequenting this building and the areas outside. There is a memorial to the fallen on September 11th and several sculptures in the immediate area around the Windermere Library.
Parking in front of the Library is usually sufficient. There is additional public parking nearby but check the signage to keep from infringing on the local businesses. The location of the Windermere Farmers Market is right in front of the Windermere FL Library.
