Little Fish Lake is part of the Butler Chain of Lakes but technically in Orlando. This lake is as far south as you can go and be on the chain. Fish Lake or as google calls it Little Fish Lake is not very large but the canal to is is very nice. The bridge over the canal is probably the nicest on the chain.
Little Fish Lake has but 24 surface acres. That makes this lake the second smallest in the Butler Chain. The smallest is Unnamed Lake and the third largest is Little Lake Down. The mean depth is 16 feet which is respectable and the total volume of the lake is estimated to be 126 million gallons.
Although this is not a large lake it certainly has some expensive real estate around it. Phillips Grove has a line of custom homes and each one of those lots was a million dollars. Turtle Creek on the east shore has not only some lakefront homes but some homes on a canal as well. A trip back to the canal will open your eyes to where the really nice homes are. Think helicopter pad.
Living on a small lake is just fine. Most of the time you just enjoy the view anyway. Very few people that are boating on the chain venture this far to the south. Maybe you will someday find a home on Little Fish Lake.
