Merrick Landing is adjacent to Eden Isle which is a gated lakefront community. They do not share amenities and the community pool located in Merrick Landing is for Merrick Landing residents. The pool is used by a few but I have never seen it crowded.

The Homes Here

The 81 townhomes here were built with the young professional in mind. An owner or resident who does not need that much space but chooses this location. The townhomes start off in size at just over 1,065 square feet and the largest is just over 1,550. The smaller sizes have 2 to 3 bedrooms and 2 to 3 baths.

No sense in more space if it is not needed. That's especially true when it comes time to pay the utility bills. With the community now being 20 years old the many shade trees are definitely an added bonus.

Moving Forward

This part of Windermere FL is more affordable and has definitely taken off in popularity. When most people think townhomes in this part of town, they think of Summerport or the Vineyards. There are choices but these have their own niche.

The Local Area
