W 6th Ave in Windermere FL is at the southernmost roundabout and runs 90 degrees to Main Street. W 6th Avenue is on the same side of Main as the Police Station, library and townhall. You will also see the Downtown Farmers Market in this location weekly.
The photo of the government building above is where you will want to turn onto W 6th Avenue from Main Street. Google Maps still has not updated and does not show this but trust me it is there. As you head westward on this street you will be passing the townhall, library and the parking lot for them. They are kind of hard to notice unless you are looking.
The street starts off red brick but that comes to an end just past the library or after driving about 350 feet. This entire street is just two blocks or a little over 700 feet long. One you get past the red bricks it turns to a narrow dirt road. Where it ends is a different story. It ends at Butler Street.
The home on Forest Street and W 6th Avenue was built in 1927. That is unique enough to be interesting. The home has 2,300 plus square feet and sets on .38 acres. Now it is a two story home, has a beautiful front porch, metal roof and a picket fence. It is the most interesting house on W 6th Avenue in Windermere FL.
