Windermere FL's logo is also its coat of arms. Windermere's logo has incorporated some of It's ancestors Heraldic Shield which is also shown below. You will see the logo around town in many places and it may be on a red or blue banner or even on the side of a building.
Windermere Florida's logo is often referred to as a crest or even a shield. The upper left section contains three Windermere class yachts with a blue background. The upper right quadrant of the crest represents Windermere being the gateway to the local lake district. The lower right has a representation of three fish known as Arctic Charr. Charr are a delicacy which feed in deep water making Lake Windermere a perfect for them. The lower left quadrant of the crest is modeled after the flag of Saint George who is the Patron Saint of England.
Above is the Heraldry or Heraldic Shield of the town of Windermere in England. As you can see there is also a Charr at the top of the shield but the ship looks slightly different. That is because the ship is not the 22 foot Windermere Class Racing Yacht represented on Windermere FL's logo. The ship on the lower half of this shield is most likely representing a roman ship which was used for lake transportation since the terrain is so formidable around the lake.
I would say Windermere did a great job with their design. Just having one is actually pretty incredible and worth showing off. We hope you have enjoyed viewing the Windermere FL logo.
