Windermere Recreation Center

The Windermere Recreation Center is a park in the city of Windermere FL. This is not a gated park rather an open park with a lot to offer it's visitors from dusk till dawn. The park is frequented by tennis players on a daily basis but yet there is more.

The Windermere Recreation Center is shown in detail in the video above. Here are some tips before you go. Be careful if it has been raining if you are walking out toward the volleyball court where the grills and covered area are. it get wet because it is not much higher than the lake level.

There is no launching of motorized boats. The Windermere police regularly drive by and they will catch you. You can feel free to launch a kayak or similar boat as long as the signs there remain that allow it.

Parks in Windermere

The tennis courts do get used so plan on showing up early if you wish to play on a weekend. You will see the courts in the video. The table sets high enough to easily watch the players while they battle on the court. There is plenty of parking and I have never seen it full. Get out there and take advantage of the Windermere Recreation Center.
