Ocoee FL, Gotha FL,  Orlando FL, Dr Phillips of Of Orlando FL, Orlando FL near/ often bordering Disney World and Winter Garden FL. Since the entire zip code 34786 is considered Windermere by most we will not cover the lesser known towns within the zip code.

Windermere FL

The first of the cities near Windermere FL is Ocoee FL. Ocoee FL is fairly large but just never really took off as well as it's neighbors. It has been modernizing of late and trying to move its reputation forward. Not far from Windermere in Ocoee you will find the closest hospital, Walmart Supercenter, West Oaks Mall and movie theater.

The second of the cities near Windermere FL is Gotha FL. Gotha is a city but has a very small downtown area. Do not underestimate how incredible some of the homes are there. You will see a wide variety of styles and price ranges in this small German'ish town.

The third of the cities near Windermere FL is Metrowest of Orlando FL. as you have guessed Metrowest is similar to Dr Phillips as far as just being an area of Orlando. However Metrowest is how most refer to it. It has parks, golf and Valencia College. Many people love this area.

To the east the fourth of the cities near Windermere FL. Plain old Orlando FL is directly across the street from Windermere FL. Apopka Vineland Road is the dividing line. Nice homes here, they just seem kind of lost out there on their own.

To the southeast and bordering us is the fifth of the cities near Windermere FL. Dr Phillips of Orlando FL is an area not an official city. In Dr Phillips you will find many gated communities and golf courses. Also many lakefront homes on the Butler Chain of Lakes. Our favorite places there include Universal, Volcano Bay and Restaurant Row all of which are within a 10-15 minute drive.

Due south of the city on Winter Garden Vineland Road or CR 535 you run into another one of the cities near Windermere FL. Good ole rural Orlando. I say rural but the area is only 5-10 minutes from plenty of everything and so close to Disney that you can't fly a drone in many of the areas there. You will even find Disney's Golden Oak there. Disney University is across the street on Reams Road bordering Windermere.

Best City Near Windermere FL

To the west is the last of the cities near Windermere FL. Winter Garden FL and the bulk of Horizon West. Think of Horizon West as similar to Dr Phillips but better in every way if you focus on just Disney and beautiful homes.
