Lake Butler Blvd in Windermere FL is a little over 3.2 miles long. Lake Butler Blvd has rather humble beginnings on its eastern end. It starts off next to the canal which connects Lake Down to Wauseon Bay. Running parallel to it at this point is Maguire Road.
Lake Butler Blvd is a tale of multiple sections. The expensive and luxurious homes along the shore of Wauseon Bay and Lake Butler should be in a category all of their own. Likely the homes on the north side of this portion of the Blvd should also be separate. However when you venture far enough to the west you also have lakefront homes on Lake Roper. In all fairness they are certainly not as valuable as they would be on the Butler Chain of Lakes.
We will be referring to the communities by their community name not the names of the subdivisions. You will easily be able to recognize them this way as you drive down this beautiful street. I rarely ever take Chase Road this is my favorite road in Windermere.
The Windermere Club is where we will start. This gated community has had an interesting past. Most of us known it and Stoneybrook West in Winter Garden FL is going through a similar ordeal right now. For now the dust has settled and there remains a gorgeous community on Lake Crescent. Fun fact, Lake Crescent is connected to Lake Butler under Lake Butler Blvd.
Next is Chaine Du Lac which is on the south side of Lake Butler Blvd. Yes that means some of the homes are also on the shore of Lake Butler. This community has a wide variety of homes from older style homes to a modern home which Element Homes just completed. Any home in this community would be a big win for most of us. Just being able to pay the property taxes on a couple of the lakefront ones would be good enough for me. Several of them would rival any homes in the area.
Casabella at Windermere. Just as you get past Chaine Du Lac (if you notice the sign) and are headed west you will begin to see this large brick wall with towering modern homes behind it. If you have never seen it you are wondering what is that community. Well, that is Casabella at Windermere. A group of luxury homes that Chaine Du Lac actually blocks off of Lake Butler. There are no lakefront homes in Casabella. That has little effect on the pricing. Most still sell for millions.
Th next named communities with signs and amazing homes are the Lake Clarice communities. Lake Clarice Plantation and The Estates at Lake Clarice. These two communities are not gated but will surprise you with the quality of homes within them. The Estates at Lake Clarice has more homes and nicer homes. Some are really nice and would please just about anyone.
Not to much further and Lake Butler Blvd ends at Winter Garden Vineland Road. Just turn around and drive back to Windermere. As you drive down the street take a minute to appreciate the work that has taken place to build and yes to earn the money to purchase these magnificent homes.
The homes along Wauseon Bay and Lake Butler are admired by thousands but owned by only a handful. Thanks for researching, let us know if we can assist with any real estate along Lake Butler Blvd in Windermere FL.
