The Windermere Club is a gated community located just north and west of Windermere Town. The southern entrance is on the north side of Lake Butler Blvd. The Windermere Club also has homes in a smaller gated location on Lake Roberts Ct which is on the east shore of beautiful Lake Roberts.
One could easily say that this community has an interesting past. Still, it is moving forward and it does contain many very nice homes and many gorgeous views of both Lake Crescent and Lake Roberts.
The first of the homes here were built in 1985 and many have been remodeled. Very few of the homes in this community back up to other homes. Most of the back yards face want was the golf course or the lake.
Not far from the south entrance on Lake Butler Blvd is the Windermere Recreation Center. Better than most community parks and on the shore of Lake Crescent this park is frequented by many Windermere residents. The drive through this area is one of the most attractive to be found around the lakes and I take it as often as possible.
This is a great place for those who want to live near the town and may be commuting. The neighborhood is deceptively quiet and peaceful and the local turnpike is just a short drive away.
