Volcano Bay in Orlando FL 15 Minutes From Windermere

Yes you can be at Volcano Bay in Orlando FL in 15 minutes from parts of Windermere FL. By at Volcano Bay I actually mean in the parking garage which is shown in the video above. I love making videos but the video above is very informative and certainly took some planning. Since I frequent this park with my family I will add some personnel thoughts below.

Windermere FL

There are many reasons to have places like Volcano Bay near you but yet a short distance away. Windermere FL is a perfect distance. Volcano Bay has zero effect on our local traffic and a positive effect on our home values. Not to mention when visitors come to stay with you then everyone certainly has an interesting place to visit. Volcano Bay is an excellent place even for smaller children because their needs were taken into consideration when the park was built.

My Thoughts on Volcano Bay in Orlando FL

Get a season pass if you are into waterparks. Not only is it worth it but you can drop off teenagers here and they will probably never get tired of it. Here are some top tips.

• Get a waterproof holder for your phone. They do sell them here and they are not that expensive.
• Get a locker. Sounds like a no brainer but some people don't and find out what happens in large crowds of tourist. Those racks next to the more popular rides are just for shoes etc. Don't learn an expensive lesson that will spoil a great time.
• If you go in a group of 5 or more go ahead and rent one of the cabanas. You will wish you did and in the off season they are fairly reasonable. You will stay all day if you do and really have a great time. Food can be delivered to your hangout. If you can afford it you will need to reserve these well in advance.
• The best rides take a couple of hours to ride. As soon as you get to Volcano Bay get registered for your favorite ride. The longer you wait to register the more likely you will miss out. While you wait ride the ones with minimal wait time or no wait time at all. The two lazy rivers are great and so are the children's areas.
• Wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking on hard surfaces. You can take them off if needed when at the beach or on a ride or wear comfortable shoes that tolerate water like crocs etc.

Those are things I learned when I first started visiting Volcano Bay in Orlando. It is my favorite of all of the parks near Windermere FL and if you like the water then give it a try. Yes Disney has waterparks like Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach but we don't always take children as ours are older now. Get your family and friends together and plan a vacation style trip. Then bust out that wallet and plan on having a great time at Volcano Bay in Orlando FL near Windermere.
