Park Avenue in north Windermere FL reaches 2.2 miles from its eastern beginning at Maguire Road to its final ending spot in the western end of Chaine Du Lac. It would be a little shorter but the road now is split in two and you must enter the Chaine Du Lac community from a the main entrance on Lake Butler Blvd to re-access Park Avenue.

Park Ave in Windermere FL runs parallel to Lake Butler Blvd. At its beginnings on Maguire Road there is a roundabout which helps with traffic flow until someone gets there who doesn't yet know how roundabouts work. Thankfully that is getting more and more rare.

After making the transition onto Park Ave the first thing you notice is Windermere Elementary School on the north side of the street. Other than the beginning and ending of the school day there is never a traffic issue here. As you drive westward you will notice how beautiful and community friendly this street is. Even during the summer residents are exercising on the shaded sidewalks or taking a stroll with family or friends.

Windermere Recreation Center is also on Park Avenue. This park area is used daily by tennis players, Kayak users and park enthusiasts. There is a lot to offer in this park and it also looks over Crescent Lake. Some walk or jog to get here but there is always plenty of parking available.
